Associate

Job Description: Applicants at the Associate level will be expected to make significant contributions to the design of qualitative and quantitative research, manage research teams, and create high value strategically focused reports and presentations.  Associates act as day-to-day project managers with direct involvement overseeing data collection and supervision of junior team members and sub-contractors.  For a quantitative project, Associate are expected to manage all aspects of projects, including research design refinement, questionnaire / discussion guide development, field and data processing management (both national and international).  For a qualitative project, Associates will assist with focus group moderating. This will involve input into the design of qualitative discussion guides and reports, and on-site management and note-taking of face-to-face interviews (IDIs). There may be opportunity to conduct telephone and face-to-face IDIs, focus groups and ethnographic observations. These interviews would likely be with physicians, patients and care-givers, and other healthcare management personnel.

Job Qualifications: The successful candidate has:

Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of related work experience

Interest in market research, healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, consulting and/or marketing research

Superior academic credentials, including strong analytical and strategic skills

Proactive learner and self starter that has personal drive to excel

Detail-orientation and organizational skills

Strong oral and written communications skills

Knowledge of spreadsheet, Power point, and Word processing software

Experience as a dedicated team player

Interviewing / moderating experience is a plus, but not necessary

Experience in market research is a plus, but not necessary

Ability to travel on short notice across the USA and internationally  
(Approximately 35% travel required)
